Experienced Welder Needed

Job Overview:

A Tractor Trailer Welder is responsible for welding, fabricating, and repairing various components of tractor trailers, ensuring they meet industry standards for safety and durability. This role requires expertise in multiple welding techniques, a deep understanding of metalworking, and the ability to work with heavy-duty materials.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks on tractor trailers.
  • Repair structural components, including frames, axles, and bodies, ensuring the integrity and safety of the trailers.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately complete welding projects.
  • Measure, cut, and prepare metal materials for welding, following specifications and industry standards.
  • Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality and safety requirements.
  • Maintain and operate welding equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including mechanics and fabricators, to complete projects efficiently.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a welder, preferably in a trailer or heavy equipment manufacturing setting. (2 years Required)
  • Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and materials.
  • Strong understanding of tractor trailer structures, materials, and welding standards.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Job Requirements:

  • Good attitude and willingness to learn
  • Minimum 2 year of Welding experience
